Truckhaven for
the insane.
WHAT: Use the New Year's holiday to get ready for some rugged four-wheeling! Saturday, we'll set up camp, then experience two days of the four-wheeling Truckhaven is famous for. That night, it's potluck dinner and review the day's video.
No one's ever accused the Truckhaven Trek of lacking for tough four-wheeling fun, and this year is the toughest yet! From the first time we lock our hubs, low range will be the norm. The challenging trails run from the sublime to the ridiculous and we'll try almost anything. We'll snake around tight twisty ravines, cruise in the washes, climb absurdly steep hills and negotiate formidable drop-offs. I have a Saturday lunchtime option that some would rather watch than attempt! He also plans to lead the group through "Pucker Pass," in the uphill direction!

WHEN: See Trip Schedule
WHO: Anyone with a fully insured street-legal 4X and the desire to take on a "ten"! Long wheelbase (full-sized long beds, crew cabs, etc.) and virgins better bring a good tow strap.
FEE: $95 per vehicle (one or two people). $21 per additional passengers. Co-drivers recommended. Full fee deposit will reserve your place on this always full trip. $108 for late reservations. Deposit: $95
EQUIPMENT: At least one locking differential required! Improved ground clearance and upgraded tires highly recommended. This trip is limited to 12 4WD vehicles.
