You may have heard all the hype about rock crawling. This is your chance
to find out what all the fuss'n and fun are about.
WHAT: Rocks, I both love ‘em and hate ‘em. The mere mention of the word rocks brings a sparkle to the eye of the veteran four-wheeler and makes the novice cringe. This is a supervised introduction to rock crawling.
As we top Gold Mountain, you'll find your wide-angle lens gives an incomparable panorama of Big Bear Valley.
After conquering several rocky challenges, we’ll set up camp, enjoy a potluck, sit around the campfire and watch the day's videos on a TV.
Sunday brings on the much-dreaded Dishpan Springs! Spotters will help you negotiate the boulders both here and at other tough spots. Survivors (just kidding) will continue through the Deep Creek stream crossings and other challenges to the end of the trip at Lake Silverwood. From here, you can limp home in about an hour via I-15.

WHEN: See Trip Schedule
WHO: Fully insured, street-legal 4X and the desire to take on the rocks. Running boards should be removed. Virgin beginners are discouraged.
