This first in a series of five Goodyear Extreme Rockcrawling Championships comes to you from Farmington, NM. Team Big Rock was there to cover the event from first approach to final obstacle. From this event you will see skill and team techniques. Not only from veteran drivers but equally skilled spotters. The tremendous volunteer effort to set up this event was nothing short of incredible. Big Rock would like to thank all of the judges, scorekeepers and trail officials - most notably 2 individuals - Phil and Tom and congratulate them on a job extremely well done. The spectator turn out was simply amazing. Some estimate as many as 6,000 people watched from the rocks outside Farmington. Ranch Pratt and all involved with the American Rockcrawling Association (ARCA) should feel good about the success of the event and the sponsors who helped make it all possible. The American Rock Crawling Association (ARCA) The American Rockcrawling Association is pleased to sanction the 1999/2000 Goodyear Extreme Rockcrawling Championship Series. This is a five event series designed not only to crown a national champion but to promote and educate the public in the sport of four wheeling. The first event hosted by Farmington, New Mexico was a huge success! The Farmington Daily Times estimated the spectator for the 3 day event at over 6,0000. The ARCA would like to thank Goodyear, Detroit Lockers, Warn, Teraflex, Advanced Adapters, Premier Power Welder, and Currie Enterprises as well as dozens of volunteers from Farmington for making this event possible.
