The Dakota Territory Challenge offers an outstanding variety of trails with a wide range of difficulty. The Black Hills 4-Wheelers have trails that are just for you whether you like scenic tours or technical rock crawling or something in between. All of the trails are rich in history and feature breathtaking scenery.
A total of 143 vehicles are registered this year from 20 states/provinces as far away
as Florida, California, Texas and Saskatchewan. 
Most of the participants are camping at the Fish 'N Fry
Campground which the Black Hills 4-Wheelers reserve for the participant's exclusive for
this event. It was raining Thursday afternoon during registration so the large red and
white canopy the Black Hills 4-Wheelers put up was very welcome.
The Challenge will be covered by 6 national media groups this year including 4X4NOW. Others that will be covering the event include 4 Wheel Drive and Sport Utility Magazine, Four Wheeler Magazine, both Petersen's 4 Wheel & Off-Road and their new 4X4 Power magazines and 4X4 4U.
