Here we will spend four days and three nights of camping and exploring the canyons of the Panamints and then traveling into Death Valley. The history of the mining camps and there struggle to survive in such a hostile climate is all around us as we travel in the footsteps of the miners. Old ghost towns, historic mining districts, Ubehebe crater, "Scotties Castle", old Indian writings, springs, and the millions of years of Mother Nature carving out the lands. This is a pleasant location in the mountains to tackle the rocks, trees, and bushes with your driving skills. Hot Springs Mt. the highest point in San Diego County with electrifying views. Travel with the person who gave the locations there names and learn it's history. A nice one day trip or you can camp-out in the campground for more exploration of the trails on your own. Rated as 3. $85.oo per day
 
Mojave Trail

The historic route used by those who wanted to move west and settle or mine the gold fields of the West. We start at the Colorado river and go west over the mountains from one spring to another, as the pioneers did. We will camp-out along the trail and be just like the early settlers under the stars. Two days of fun with one night of excitement. Rated as 2 ½. $100.oo per day
 
Red Rock / Jawbone Canyon

A terrific one day for the whole family at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mts. This is a scenic and unique area with Mother Nature handy work. You can find the hand of time in the rocks. Rated as 2 ½. $100.oo
 
Smugglers Cave

This is a distinctive unique area above the famous Carrizo Gorge rail line. We spend two days traveling the old stage route and visiting the Smuggler Cave high above the desert floor along the border. We will have a nice camp with some extras from our base camp to make this pleasant for the whole family. Rated as 3. $155.oo

Hole in the Rock

We will travel the 30 mile section of the trail that is the most remote. You will get a true understanding of the hardships the pioneers experienced.
